Butter beans, also known as ‘Gigantes’ due to their giant size, are used to create a wide array of mouth-watering Mediterranean meals. INGREDIENTS Butter Beans DIRECTIONS HobInstructions: Do not eat raw.Hob: 50 mins.Soak 100g beans in 500ml cold water for 12 hours or overnight.Drain and rinse thoroughly.Place the soaked beans into a large saucepan with 500ml of water.Place the pan over a high heat. Bring to the boil and boil for 10 minutes.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 40 minutes, until the beans have softened but are slightly firm to the bite.Drain thoroughly, rinse and use as required.All appliances vary, these are guidlines only.
